Did you know you can stretch
the usage of your razor blades five, maybe ten times longer? I
have read where the wearing dull of your razor blades is not so much
from usage but it is mostly from oxidation, in other words it becomes
coated with some kind of substance caused by the oxygen in the air.
There is a rather simple solution to it.
When you finish shaving do
this:
-
The next step is to submerge
the blade, stilled attached to the handle, into a container of
alcohol and let it remain there until the next time you shave.
In other words submerge the whole thing in the alcohol.
My beard is not as heavy as
some but this has really worked well for me. I only shave
two times a week since I no longer have to make public appearances
every day such as going to work. I am retired. One of
Gillette's four-blade razor blades lasted me nearly a year before I
replaced it with another one. I did not keep track of the time
but my best estimate is around 8 to 10 months. At my rate of
shaving that is about 25 or 30 shaves from one blade and I may get 50
or more this time around. Maybe you will not get that many but I
think you will get at least 5 to 10 times the number of shaves that
you are currently getting.
Give me feed back about your
results.
